Terms of Service
These terms apply to callnethero.com and to services provided by Net Hero, a d/b/a of Austin Dood LLC ("Net Hero," "we," "us"). By using the site or booking a service you agree to them. A written quote or service agreement for a specific job controls if it differs from these terms.
Our services
We set up and support consumer and small-business technology: Wi-Fi and networks, backup internet including Starlink, smart-home and audio-visual devices, business IT support, AI phone and automation tools, and websites and local marketing. Work uses existing outlets, jacks and wireless connections. We'll tell you up front if a job is outside what we do.
Free surveys and quotes
Surveys are free and carry no obligation. Prices shown on this site are starting points for planning. Your written quote sets the price for your job. Equipment, third-party software and service fees (for example, Starlink service) are separate unless your quote says otherwise.
Support plans
- Support plans are memberships for our labor and support time: remote help, scheduled visits, checkups and member discounts on labor, as described for each plan.
- Support plans do not repair, replace or pay for the repair or replacement of any equipment or product. They are memberships for support time, not equipment plans of any kind.
- Home plans are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
- Business plans have a 3-month minimum term, then continue month-to-month until either side gives 30 days' notice.
- Included hours and visits don't roll over. "Fair use" means about 8 hours a month per household or about 4 hours per user per month on average. Support is provided during posted business hours; after-hours work is billed at the member rate.
- Travel is included within Polk County. A flat trip fee applies to visits elsewhere.
Internet and third-party services
Net Hero is an independent company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Starlink, SpaceX or any internet provider. We don't control third-party networks or services and can't promise any speed, uptime or availability. Internet speeds and availability vary by location and conditions.
AI phone assistant
Our phone line is answered by an AI assistant that identifies itself as AI. Calls may be recorded. The assistant can make mistakes; anything it books or says is confirmed by our team. You can ask for a person at any time.
Communications
If you agree on our form, we may contact you about your request by phone, text or email, including by automated means. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or tell us anytime to stop contacting you.
Payment
Invoices are due on receipt unless your quote says otherwise. Plan fees are billed monthly in advance.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service involved in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages. Please keep your own backups.
Florida law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Polk County, Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
